PASSIVE & ACTIVE EXERCISE
MOVE OR BE MOVED.
At CNCC, we have skilled physical therapists who help you move your muscles and joints to their maximum range of motion. Treatments in our physiotherapy section are categorized into manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy, which are prescribed accordingly after a detailed examination of your condition. Generally, we employ two exercise techniques: ‘active’ and ‘passive’. The ‘passive exercise’ involves low-intensity movement that does not require significant effort or strain, such as stretching or yoga. ‘Active exercise’, on the other hand, involves more vigorous activity and improves strength, endurance, and overall fitness. Both types of exercise can provide a range of health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, increased muscle strength, and improved flexibility. Not just that, we have other types of equipment to improve the patient’s physical condition, like suspension–therapy tools, multi-purpose quad chairs, rowing machines, and other post-stroke rehab equipment.
